Off to the Zoo!

On the Wednesday during VBS, we took a break from the craziness and everything else going on for some family time. So, we took Isaac to the zoo for the first time. I have been to this particular zoo many times with my Kindergarten class, but seeing it through your own child's eyes is a refreshing experience. We knew right from the start that Isaac was going to love it. As we approached the window of the orangutans, we hear him from the stroller say, "Oh". He pointed right at the baby and started to giggle. His favorite animals were the gorilla, orangutans, and the lions. The lions were laying right against the glass and we were only inches from them. It was so cool! Seeing these amazing creatures through Isaac's fresh eyes, reminded me of how wonderful God is and what amazing things he has created. Thank you God for Isaac's eyes!
