I'm so behind in my blogging...

So, instead of trying to catch up, which is impossible; I will just share about recent events. We are so amazingly blessed. We are so blessed to have such an amazing family and got to spend the holiday season with them. We spent Thanksgiving with the Robertson family...yummy food and great company. So fun to catch up with our Texas family.

December was a busy month with many great tradition to celebrate. Isaac loved doing our advent reading each day this year and the yummy candy in his advent calendar each day.

Nana and Grandpa Dan came to spend Christmas with us. We celebrated Christmas Eve with a great Christmas dinner and Christmas Eve service at church. Isaac got his Christmas Eve jammies (Buzz and Woody, of course). Christmas morning he was up early. We read the Christmas story from his Bible and then moved on to so many presents I can't even count. (our blessing overflow, and his grandparents spoil him)

Isaac opened each with care and loved every one. The adults got a few surprises too.

Then, Barry had to spend LOTS of time putting things together.

We got on our church clothes and headed to Christmas service where Barry preached a fabulous Christmas sermon and we saw all our church family to say, "Merry Christmas".

After church, it was off to Grandma and Papa's for more family fun. This is the "hat" that Isaac got Grandma for Christmas. He made her put it on. I think she should wear this all the time!

Then, back home for a nap and enjoying our new toys!
And enjoying the movie Cars 2 from Nana and Grampa Dan.

We hope that your family had a blessed Christmas and we hope your 2012 is filled with joy and laughter!
