It's hard to wait for the egg hunt to start. Isaac decided to try on his basket like a backpack.
Look at all the eggs in that basket
Sunday - What a fabulous day! Thank you God for sending your Son to die for us. I am overwhelmed by your love. We praise you for His resurrection!!
I can't think of a better day. We worshiped together at Sonrise service. One of my favorite things is to sit together in worship. That doesn't always happen with a 2 year old and a Children's Pastor for a husband, but today we did. Then we had breakfast with our church family... umm... bacon and biscuits and homemade cinnamon rolls...that's good eats.
And then, off to Grandma and Papa's for Easter lunch and another egg hunt. Isaac found 4 eggs. Barry is very disappointed that Isaac's competitiveness has not kicked in yet. But, if Isaac needed a lesson, he could have watched his daddy in the adult egg hunt. I really wish I had been videoing instead of taking pictures, but maybe you can tell a little from the pictures how Barry was pushing over children's toys and running like a crazy man to find some Easter eggs. Grandma and Papa, you sure now how to have an egg hunt.
Finally, after a long nap, Isaac got his Easter basket at about 5:30 in the evening. He dove right in and tackled the chocolate bunny.
