I'm Back...

So, the motherboard in my computer crashed and it is with the Geek squad. They are getting all my files off of it and then it will go to the great laptop afterlife (ok, the trash). Yesterday, my wonderful husband brought home a new laptop. So, I feel like I am back in the techno world.


I have a lot to catch up on. Since I last posted, Nana and Grandpa have visited. Barry and Dad began remodeling the upstairs bathroom. I got an iphone and Isaac has been running a temperature for 3 days...ugghhh!


I can finally post this fabulous video of Barry pushing our cast iron tub out the second story window. We have remodeled our downstairs bathroom which now looks fabulous and the next step was the upstairs bathroom. The upstairs bathroom has always had an antique (or just old) cast iron clawfoot tub that we had added a shower to. It was hard to get in and out of and since mom and dad use that bathroom when they visit, we wanted to make it safer for them. So, as a surprise for them, we began to remodel in the hopes of having a working shower by the time they got here.The shower wasn't working before they got here, but it was working before they left. Now, there is just a lot of trim work to do and cabinets to put in.

So, here is the video of Barry pushing the tub out the window. There were a few hours of work that came before this to get the 450 pound tub in the window to push it out, but this is the most exciting part. My favorite part is Barry sticking his head out the window after.  Oh, you may have to turn you head sideways to view this...sorry!

Here is the newest band on the block ...they are awesome!
