Terry turned 40 in September and Stacey planned a surprise party for him. Grandma and Grandpa Robertson came from Texas and spent the weekend with us as we all celebrated Terry. Isaac had tons of fun with Grandma and Grandpa at the park and all weekend. I worked on the cake, Angie worked on decorations, and Barry distracted Terry as we all planned.
The party was a Star Wars theme and Barry remembered that Darth Vader's Tie Fighter was Terry's favorite ship when they were kids, so I made a Tie Fighter cake for the party.
Terry was completely surprised. Barry managed to get him to a remote farm on a dirt road with party signs all the way without him suspecting that the party was for him. Barry convinced him that his mom, Stacey, and I had found a great place to take some family pictures; which he informed us later, was not that hard to believe. Apparently, we girls are know for things like that. He didn't figure it out until he was about 8 feet from the front door. Everyone had a blast! Stacey planned a fabulous party.
Barry even dressed up as Darth Vader to top it all off.

What a fabulous weekend celebrating Terry and family!
