This past week we went to camp with the 3rd through 6th graders. We had 10 campers from our church who went and we had tons of fun! Isaac's actual birthday was on Wednesday and the kids were great to sing to him and eat some cake. Barry was the evening speaker each night. You can see his entrance the first night in the pictures - yes he is on a tricycle. We had a great time and the kids learned a lot. Our "family group" won the points competition for the week. You earn points for scripture memorizations, skits each night, and recreation activities and our group did great in each of these areas. Barry and I were very proud of how well the campers from our church behaved. Isaac was very good too. He loved being around the kids and he loved going to the pool every day.
Isaac did much better eating cake the second time around. He dug right in and made a royal mess. He left the cake again, but devoured all of the icing. It was naptime soon after this and I went and put him in his bed and he was wide awake. Barry had a short break, so he came into the cabin. We laughed so hard at Isaac high on sugar. He was laughing so hard at nothing. He would look at the ceiling and crack up. It took him quite a while to fall asleep.
