We celebrated Barry's birthday with our small group from church. His cake this year was a golf ball cake. Some of you may not know that Barry has a tendency to be a little dramatic. As you can see he is standing on our dining room chairs with a golf club and hits the candle off the top of the cake. Luckily he is pretty accurate with his swing, so we didn't have a big mess. You can see in the pictures that Hayden is watching his "Pastor Barry" very carefully and helps blow out the candle. I am sure Cady appreciates the wonderful lessons Hayden learns from Barry.
I should have know he would do something like this when I made a golf ball cake. Last year, I made him a cake that looked like a PB & J sandwich and he cut it in half and took a bite out of it. Below you will see pictures from last year.
